Mindstream Yoga!

Minstream Yoga, located at 2733 Council Tree Avenue (Fort Collins). It's located by Dazbog in the Front Range Village over by Super Target! I recently noticed this new yoga studio while walking around the area and thought it might be cool to check out. It's fairly new, and it's in a great location for you folks who live closer to Fossil Ridge High School or you are over in that area a lot. The website is www.mindstreamyoga.com and it looks easy to navigate. Under the tab "schedule" they have a lot of options as to what classes you can take. And it ranges in time like 5:30 in the morning to the last class starting at 8:15 at night. By the looks of it, it seems to be that you need a membership to go here, and there is no drop in classes, but I could be wrong. You might want to call or check in with that information.
So there you have it! New yoga studio, mindstream yoga! Go check it out!

WASSSSUP BLOGGERS

Its 2 AM and I am ready to blog! So yoga pose for the day. So personally, I really enjoy the yoga pose "downward dog split" it is a very energizing pose that I think a lot of people can do at any level of yoga. Even if you cannot lift your leg as high as any of the pictures below, it doesn't really matter because you can always work your way up to it. Here is a how too from mindbodygreen.com

How-to: Keep your arms and legs straight, and inhale to lift one leg up in the air. You can open your hip and body to the side, or keep your hips and shoulders square and your lifted toes pointing at the ground.

So to you bloggers at home, try this pose. It is honestly really awesome, it opens your hips and is a great and easy way to stretch and relax. So I dare you to go do it. NOW!!!!!!

Old Town Yoga

Hello Everyone!
So, I did some more research on yoga around Fort Collins, and Old town Yoga would be a good choice for you folks who live in old town or in that surrounding area, or work down there, or just are in old town a lot of the time. So looking at their website, there are a lot of options available as far as classes go. By the looks of it, most classes average about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. Most days, the classes start around 7:30 and then the last class of the day is 5:30 some days and then 7:00-7:15 the other days. The main classes they teach there are

-Wake up and Flow
-Integral Yoga
-Prana Up which is a $9 drop in
-Slow Flow
-Vinyasa 2
-Viniyoga
-Beginners Yoga
-Restorative
and then there are a few more classes.
The best idea is to check their schedule online at www.oldtownyoga.com and see what classes work for you.
